A 40 Day Biblical Approach to Love
A time to love…
The writer of Ecclesiastes talks of the plans of God and His appointed times. God is in control and everything is in order. No matter how chaotic things may seem, in this divine plan there is a time to love. This does not mean that when you are out of love you should do the opposite. Rather it means that when you are in a time of love you must love completely. When your time for love comes you just don’t put your toes in the water but you jump in and immerse yourself in the waters of love. This life we are given with our loved ones is only temporary, for a time, a season. So many things get in the way of that short season we have for love. That tiny baby will too soon be an adult and leave your home. That parent will too soon pass from this life to the next.
Love 100%, love unconditionally. Give yourself to the love that God has provided you with. Thank God for this season of love and love completely.
- Who are the people in your life that you truly love?
- When was the last time you told them how much they mean to you and how much you love them?
- Take some time to let your loved ones know that they are loved. Write to them. Send a card. Better yet tell them face to face.
