Make your own luck.
Too many times I hear people exclaim that so and so was so “lucky” to get, receive or attain such and such. Please understand that much of what people claim to be luck is people putting themselves in the right place at the right time. Those lucky people put hard work into their supposed lucky streak. Much of what is seen as luck isn’t luck at all, but just being there ready to do or not do.
Here is part two of things to improve your chances of being lucky.
2. Stay after.
Don’t be in a rush to get out of there. Hang around and see if you can catch the boss’s, chairman’s, leader’s attention. Share a thought or just be there to help put things away. Your extra time and thoughts will go a long way to enhance your luck.
