It’s Sunday afternoon. Take some time for yourself. Turn off the tube. Lay down and take a nice nap. Make this your Sunday afternoon routine. Make the whole family slow down for just a little while.
They don’t want to take a nap? Then call it Sunday afternoon “quiet time” and have them just lay down, read a book or listen to some soft music the idea is to just chill.
You need the time, so do the kids.
Recharge your body and mind. Get ready for the busy week ahead.
One suggestion: Don’t overdo it. Don’t rest to long. An hour should be the limit. you don’t want to ruin your sleep schedule. You don’t want to be groggy the rest of the day.
The Sunday afternoon quiet time is just a time for you to lay back and say ahhh. You had a hard week and you deserve it. You all do.
Tell everyone that your therapist recommends it.
